DevOps Expert

Citymesh NV, European leader in installing private 4G/5G netwerks and WiFi-as-a-service, is seeking a DevOps Expert to join our Solutions & Technologies department.

As a DevOps Expert you will be a team member of the Datacenter team and will work closely with the Security Team.

Key Responsibilities:

• You will work closely with the Security Team
• You attach great importance to following industry best practices
• you like a wide variety of projects
• Help to manage and automate cloud infrastructure

• You speak fluent Dutch
• Bachelor degree (preferably Engineering)
• Thorough knowledge of Linux system administration (preferably Debian) and underlying software (Bash, systemd, cron, iptables, ...)
  
• Knowledge of virtualisation platforms such as KVM and VMWare
• Strong affinity with programming (Python / Go)
• Experience with web / proxy servers such as Nginx, Apache, HAProxy, Traefik and Nutanix Cloud Infrastructure solutions
• Strong knowledge of databases, both relational and NoSQL (Postgresql, Percona, Elasticsearch, MongoDB, ...) and container technologies such as Docker (Swarm) / Kubernetes
• Familiar with file system and storage systems (NFS, ext4, btrfs, ...); Gitlab CI/CD pipelines and monitoring services using Prometheus and Grafana
• Basic knowledge of networking technologies (TCP/IP Stack, Vlans, DNS, Firewalling, SNMP)
• Experience with configuration management tools (Chef, Ansible, ...) and cloud services (Azure / GCP / AWS)
