Commercial Drone Pilot

Citymesh is a leading technology company specializing in innovative wireless connectivity and communication solutions. We are currently looking for a Sales Expert to join our Safety Drones team in either Oostkamp or Hasselt, and contribute to our mission of advancing safety and efficiency through aerial technology.

As a Commercial Drone Pilot at Citymesh, your primary responsibility will be to represent the Safety Drone Project within the governor's marketplace. Next to that, you’ll also be trained to perform drone operations for safety inspections and data collection, at a later stage. Your collaboration with our team will be crucial in gathering and analyzing vital information, which will help us enhance safety protocols and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Actively represent the Safety Drone Project throughout Belgium to government agencies, stakeholders, and potential clients

• Generate leads through networking, cold calling, and attending industry events to establish connections with decision-makers in local government bodies

• Lead negotiations and discussions with potential clients to secure partnerships and contracts for the implementation of the Safety Drone Project

• Safely conduct drone operations, like safety inspections, in compliance with legal regulations and safety guidelines

• Report findings and results to management and clients

Must Have Qualities & Talents

• Commercial mindset, with the ability to effectively articulate a value proposition

• Ability to negotiate contracts and agreements while maintaining positive relationships with clients

• Profound interest in the drone and safety industry

• Qualified drone pilot with relevant licenses and certifications (A2 and/or A1/3)

• Familiarity with legal regulations and flight permits

• Willingness to travel as needed

• Strong and effective communication skills, and proficiency in English, Dutch and French
