To support us in this mission, we are currently looking for a FTTH Designer. Are you the one we’re looking for?

A Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) Designer, a is responsible for planning, designing, and mapping the infrastructure for FTTH networks. They ensure that FTTH networks are efficiently and effectively deployed to provide high-speed internet and communication services to residential areas.

Your key responsibilities:

• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to determine the scope and requirements of FTTH projects
• Analyze customer needs and assess the feasibility of FTTH network deployments in specific areas
• Review site survey data collected by site survey specialists to understand site conditions, potential challenges, and opportunities
• Create detailed network design plans that include fiber optic cable routes, equipment placement, and configurations
• Select the most efficient and cost-effective routing options, considering existing infrastructure and minimizing environmental impact
• Choose the appropriate FTTH equipment, including Optical Network Terminals (ONTs), optical splitters, and distribution frame
• Ensure that the selected equipment meets performance requirements and integrates seamlessly with the network
• Maintain comprehensive records of network designs, including diagrams, layouts, and equipment specifications
• Estimate the budget required for the FTTH project, considering material costs, labor, and any additional expenses related to the design
• Stay up to date with the latest FTTH technologies, industry trends, and best practices to enhance the quality of network designs

Our expectations:

• Minimum a few years of professional experience as a FTTH Designer
• Experience using design tool within FTTH, with preferably also knowledge of Autocad
• Attention to detail & strong problem-solving skills
• Documentation skills
• Collaboration will be needed with Project Managers, Program Manager and our technicians
• Adaptability and strong time-management skills
• Proficient in data-analysis
