Keep reading! As an IP Network Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, security and performance of our network, supporting the seamless flow of data across various systems and locations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement and maintain robust IP network solutions to meet the organization's business requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand network needs and develop scalable solutions
• Configure and optimize routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking hardware
• Proactively identify and resolve network issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance
• Implement and maintain network security protocols to safeguard against unauthorized access and potential threats
• Stay abreast of industry best practices and ensure compliance with relevant security standards
• Monitor network performance and proactively identify areas for improvement
• Optimize network configurations to ensure efficient data flow and minimal latency
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of network configurations, changes, and troubleshooting procedures
• Create and update network diagrams, ensuring clarity and transparency in the network architecture
• Work closely with other IT professionals, vendors and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration
• Provide technical support and expertise to other teams as needed
• Conduct regular capacity assessments to anticipate and address future network growth and demands
• Recommend and implement scalable solutions to accommodate the organization's evolving needs

Must Haves Qualities & Talents:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a experience in related field
• Proven experience as an IP Network Engineer or similar role
• In-depth knowledge of IP networking protocols and technologies
• Hands-on experience with routers, switches, firewalls and other network equipment
• Familiarity with security protocols, VPNs and network monitoring tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in English and Dutch and/or French
