System Engineer

We are looking for an experienced IT System Engineer with a strong foundation in networking, system administration and scripting. The candidate will also be responsible for deploying and managing containerized applications, maintaining open-source platforms, and integrating systems through APIs. If you’re a hands-on problem-solver with a passion for technology, we’d like to meet you.

Key responsibilities:

• Troubleshooting network infrastructure, including VLANs, DNS, DHCP, and VPNs;

• Deploy, configure, and manage Windows Server environments;

• Automate routine tasks and system configurations using PowerShell;

• Install, configure, and maintain Debian-based servers;

• Monitor performance and ensure system reliability and security;

• Develop and manage API integrations between various platforms and applications;

• Resolve API-related issues to ensure seamless data synchronization;

• Create and maintain Bash scripts for system automation;

• Debug and optimize scripts to support Linux environments;

• Design, deploy, and manage containerized applications using Docker;

• Ensure efficient utilization of Docker for development and production environments;

• Knowledge about Ansible;

• Familiar with Odoo ERP;

• Experience with CI/CD is a plus as well;

• Install, configure, and maintain Nextcloud for file-sharing and collaboration;

• Ensure security, performance, and scalability of Nextcloud instances.
  
  

• You have a bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent through experience;

• You radiate the following qualities: analytical, social, professional & helpful;

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;

• Ability to document processes and solutions clearly and concisely;

• In possession of a driving license B;

• You speak English & Dutch or French.
