    Citymesh NV, European leader in providing both permanent and temporary business connectivity solutions based on advanced WiFi, 0G, 4G and 5G technologies, is seeking a Solution Architect that has a profound interest in / strong background in Mobile Core Networks for mobile private 4G/5G.

    As a Solution Architect, you will be at the cornerstone of turning connectivity into operational value, both for Citymesh and its customers. You will be responsible for developing solution tracks in your area of expertise, bringing together novel technologies, industry trends and customer demands in order to expand or optimize our B2B portfolio.

    More specifically, as a Solution Architect Core, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing Core network solutions to meet the evolving needs of our mobile private network (MPN) customers. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration of core technologies into our and our customers’ network infrastructure, driving efficiency, performance, and reliability.

    On a day to day basis, you will interact with both internal and external stakeholders in order to capture their needs, and to serve as a technical expert in your field of expertise.


    Key Responsibilities

    • Design and integrate fully private and hybrid Core Network solutions tailored to meet specific business and technical requirements

    • Engage in market research to inform decisions about our portfolio of core solutions, ensuring alignment with industry trends and customer demands

    • Evaluate new technologies and industry trends to drive innovation and enhance core network capabilities or features

    • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define architecture, and develop implementation strategies

    • Conduct performance analysis, troubleshooting, and optimization to maximize network efficiency and reliability

    • Provide technical guidance and support to external partners, clients and internal teams, like (pre-)sales, on core network-related matters

    Job requirements

    Must Have Qualities & Talents

    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or any related field (or equivalent work experience)

    • Thorough expertise in EPC and/or 5G Core technologies and their respective protocol stack

    • A good understanding of the different EPC/5GC network components, their functionality and end-to-end signaling flows in different configurations (e.g. 4G only, 5G SA, 5G NSA)

    • Thorough knowledge on tracing and troubleshooting capabilities w.r.t. mobile core networks

    • Having both a commercial and technical mindset, and being able to understand both the client and engineering perspective

    • Having a proactive and hands on attitude, taking ownership of the assigned solution tracks and projects

    • Effective communication skills, and proficiency in English and Dutch / French


    Nice to have qualities & expertise

    • Knowledge or general interest in RAN technology (i.e. LTE, 5GNR) and its specific implementations in both standalone and non-standalone networks

    • Knowledge on Native Voice capabilities in 4G and 5G networks s.a. VoLTE and/or VoNR
