Key Responsibilities:

• Network Design and Planning:

Designing and planning backhaul network topology to ensure optimal performance,
scalability, and reliability.

Selecting appropriate technologies and equipment for backhaul network deployment based
on requirements and budget constraints.

Conducting site surveys and feasibility studies to identify optimal locations for network
equipment installation.

• Deployment and Implementation:

Configuring and deploying backhaul network equipment including routers, switches,
microwave links, fiber optic cables, and other hardware.

Conducting installation, integration, and testing of backhaul network components.

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with existing
network infrastructure.

• Performance Optimization:

Monitoring and analyzing network performance metrics to identify and address
performance bottlenecks.

Implementing optimization strategies to improve network efficiency, capacity, and reliability.

Troubleshooting network issues and coordinating with vendors for resolution as needed.

• Maintenance and Support:

Performing routine maintenance tasks such as software upgrades, hardware replacements, and configuration changes.

Responding to network outages and service disruptions in a timely manner to minimize
downtime.
Providing technical support and guidance to field technicians and operations teams as
required.

• Documentation and Reporting:

Maintaining accurate documentation of network configurations, equipment inventory, and maintenance activities.

Generating regular reports on network performance, capacity utilization, and maintenance
activities for management review.

Must Haves Qualities & Talents:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related
  field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, CWNA)
  preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in engineering of Transmission Systems
• Proven experience in designing, deploying, and optimizing backhaul
  networks in a telecommunications environment.
• Proficiency in network design tools, simulation software, and network
  management systems.
• In-depth knowledge of networking protocols, including Ethernet,
  IP/MPLS, SONET/SDH, and microwave radio.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to analyze complex network
  issues.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively
  with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with project management methodologies and tools.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-
  paced environment.
