As a Facility Technician you will be responsible for ensuring the functionality, safety, and efficiency of our physical spaces. This role requires a combination of technical expertise and effective communication.
Your key responsibilities:
- Responding promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
- Keeping accurate records of maintenance and repair work.
- Maintaining tools and equipment in good working order.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Job requirements
Our expectations in terms of experience:
A. Technical maintenance:
- Performing routine maintenance and minor repairs on building structures.
- Assembling and installing furniture and equipment.
- Painting, patching walls, and other carpentry tasks.
- Repairing doors, locks, and windows.
- Maintaining grounds and outdoor facilities.
B. Electricity:
- Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and wiring.
- Troubleshooting electrical issues and performing necessary repairs.
- Installing and repairing light fixtures, switches, and outlets.
- Ensuring compliance with electrical codes and safety standards.
- Conducting regular inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems.
C. Plumbing:
- Installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems and fixtures.
- Unclogging drains and repairing leaks in pipes and fixtures.
- Installing and repairing water heaters, toilets, sinks, and other plumbing appliances.
- Ensuring compliance with plumbing codes and safety standards.
- Conducting regular inspections and preventive maintenance on plumbing systems.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Dutch; proficiency in French and Romanian is a plus
We expect you to be fluent in English and French, with a basic knowledge of Dutch.

Full-time, permanent contract (40 hours/week, which would mean 32 days of paid holiday per year).
