IT Support Engineer

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented IT Support Engineer to provide exceptional first-line support to end users. Our ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, a customer-centric mindset, and the ability to handle a variety of technical challenges efficiently.

This role involves diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues, supporting application problems, and ensuring seamless onboarding for new users.

Key responsibilities:

• Serve as the first point of contact for end-user support through telephone, email, and a ticketing system;

• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues promptly and effectively;

• Maintain clear communication with users, providing timely feedback and updates;

• Troubleshoot application-related problems and implement effective solutions;

• Collaborate with IT teams to optimize existing processes and enhance user experiences;

• Create and maintain detailed documentation of solutions, procedures, and common issues to facilitate knowledge sharing and future reference;

• Assist in onboarding new users, ensuring all hardware, software, and system access requirements are met efficiently;

• Work closely with other IT team members to address complex issues and deliver an optimal support experience.

• You have a bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent through experience;

• You radiate the following qualities: analytical, social, professional & helpful;

• Strong knowledge of hardware, software, and troubleshooting;

• Familiarity with ticketing systems and remote support tools;

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;

• Ability to document processes and solutions clearly and concisely;

• In possession of a driving license B;

• You speak English & Dutch or French.
