- Ticket Management:
- Take ownership of tickets from the RCS&RDS ticketing system, addressing those assigned to personal users or departments.
- Technical Troubleshooting:
- Follow established technical procedures to resolve ticketed issues.
- Reassign tickets to relevant departments (NOC/Technical, Data Dispatch, Processing, Commercial) if beyond Technical Support Department scope.
- Network Equipment Solutions:
- Identify and resolve equipment issues affecting multiple clients (NO, headend, switch, router) through known technical methods.
- Adhere to technical verification procedures, coordinating with intervention teams for field resolution when necessary.
- Network Monitoring:
- Regularly check network operating parameters and promptly address arising problems.
- Equipment Oversight:
- Monitor designated equipment as per functional procedures and department coordinator directives.
- Effective Communication:
- Communicate problems affecting distribution and access equipment promptly to relevant departments via phone communication.
Job requirements
Must have qualities & talents:
- Very good knowledge of English and French/ Dutch
- Proven experience in ticketing system support and technical troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with NOC, headend, switch, and router equipment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with various departments.
