To support us in this mission, we are currently looking for a Mobile Core Engineer. Are you the one we’re looking for? Keep reading! As a Mobile Core Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our mobile core network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of mobile core technologies, including packet core and signaling, and possess the skills to ensure the reliability and efficiency of our network.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain mobile core network solutions to support our telecommunications services
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of mobile core components
• Configure and optimize packet core elements, including SGW, PGW, MME and signaling nodes
• Implement and manage signaling protocols to ensure efficient communication within the mobile core network
• Identify and resolve mobile core network issues promptly, minimizing impact on service quality
• Conduct root cause analysis for complex problems and implement corrective actions
• Monitor and optimize QoS parameters to enhance the overall performance and user experience
• Implement changes to improve network efficiency and resource utilization
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of mobile core configurations, changes, and troubleshooting procedures
• Create and update documentation for mobile core network architecture
• Implement and maintain security measures to protect the mobile core network against potential threats
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices

Must Haves Qualities & Talents:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications or experience in a related field
• Proven experience as a Mobile Core Engineer or similar role in the telecommunications industry
• In-depth knowledge of mobile core technologies, including packet core elements (SGW, PGW) and signaling nodes (MME)
• Experience with LTE and 5G mobile core networks
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in English and Dutch and/or French
