To support us in this mission, we are currently looking for a RAN Engineer. Are you the one we’re looking for? Keep reading! As a RAN Engineer, you will be responsible for the commissioning, startup and configuration of RAN sites, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of radio access technologies, site deployment processes, and the ability to troubleshoot and optimize RAN performance.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the commissioning process for new RAN sites, ensuring all equipment is properly installed and configured
  • Collaborate with the deployment team to oversee the startup of RAN sites, verifying that all components are operational
  • Configure and optimize RAN equipment to meet network specifications and performance requirements
  • Implement and maintain configuration management processes for RAN elements
  • Identify and resolve RAN-related issues promptly to minimize downtime
  • Conduct root cause analysis for complex problems and implement corrective actions
  • Monitor and analyze RAN performance, making recommendations for optimization
  • Implement changes to enhance RAN performance and efficiency
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of RAN configurations, changes, and troubleshooting procedures
  • Create and update documentation for RAN site configurations and settings
  • Conduct regular audits of RAN configurations and settings to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices
  • Implement quality assurance processes to verify the integrity and reliability of RAN sites

Job requirements

Must Haves Qualities & Talents:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications or experience in a related field
  • Proven experience as a RAN Engineer or similar role
  • In-depth knowledge of radio access technologies
  • Experience with RAN equipment from major vendors (e.g., Ericsson)
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in English and Dutch and/or French
