Your responsibilities

Your main focus is to coordinate the quality of work for a group of warehouse officers. You allocate tasks to a small group of warehouse officers and supervise their work, also mentoring them and building their knowledge. You focus on the quality of the operations, including following the correct procedures and providing a quality service to our internal clients (the infrastructure teams). You are a point of contact for a part of the warehouse and report to the Warehouse team leader.

• You are in charge of overseeing a part of the warehouse operations for a specific domain, process or topic (e.g. mobile, ftth ...). You execute the same type of tasks as the warehouse officers and additionally you coordinate the delivery and quality of the work;
• You identify and define possible solutions and improvements and propose them to the Warehouse team leader and Warehouse manager;
• You try to solve daily problems in your domain and report/escalate issues to the Warehouse team leader and ask for help if needed. You are able to solve the more complex tasks and challenges in the team, help team members solving issues and give advice;
• You help out with warehouse improvements and specific warehouse projects or challenges on request of the Warehouse team leader or manager, e.g. stock management, process and system improvements;
• You supervise and coach warehouse officers in your dedicated team and build their knowledge and general competences. You give regular/daily feedback on positive as well as improvement points. You try to motivate your colleagues and promote a positive work environment. For general objectives, improvement points, escalation of performance issues you include the Warehouse team leader;
• Note: it is the Warehouse team leader who is the end responsible and has people management responsibilities for topics such as holiday requests, special leave, expenses, performance management, recruitment etc;
• You report on a regular basis to your Warehouse team leader about the progress of the work and any possible concerns;
• You operate in a rotation schedule with the other supervisors, Warehouse team leader and manager to ensure a full time presence of somebody in charge.

• You have the same qualities as a good warehouse officer and you are able to work independently in your domain and area. Ideally you have a solid experience in a warehouse context and show a strong interest and willingness to learn about warehouse processes and systems.
• You like to work with people and coach them on the job. You feel comfortable to steer them, give feedback (positive and negative) and you are able to build a positive work environment by leading by example.
• You are a good communicator and pass on the message bold (clear) and sweet (respectful). You maintain good relationships internally and also with our internal clients (infra teams) and external clients (suppliers).
• You always keep the end game in mind: supporting our mission to make telecom affordable and attaining our company strategy (Build - Disrupt - Win) and objectives (OKR's). You actively contribute to the 'Build' goals, supporting the mobile and fiber teams to reach their challenging targets to build and operate our own network.
• You can express yourself in English and are able to speak/willing to learn one of the other Belgian languages (FR, NL).
